Teaching

My teaching philosophy is grounded in my personal experiences as a first–generation college student and an instructor. These experiences have not only shaped my strengths as an educator but have also driven my commitment to fostering intellectual growth, critical thinking, and the realization of individual potentials among my students. During my tenure as a graduate student, I have taught three classes of undergraduate level statistics, and have served as a teaching assistant for four classes in similar courses. This exposure has afforded me the opportunity to teach in diverse settings, including traditional in–person classes, synchronous online sessions, and intimate lab sessions. These varied teaching experiences have allowed me to engage with students from diverse educational backgrounds, including first–generation and non–traditional students.
